I played with legos, when I was 7 .

I never understood the huge obsession.

The old legos were better... they allowed for more unique customization from a limited amount of parts. It was all about using your imagination. Now it's about buying it and using the manual to put it together :|

I used to subscribe to the fan club magazine. There were some amazing creations back in the day. *sigh*

I'm with Las on this one, the new legos suck. I'll take a tub full of rectangles over precustomized crap anyday.

Ahh, the good old days... I remeber making lego guns and having gunfights with my brother all the time.

"I shot you!"
"No, I shot you!"
and on and on it went...

I have no problem with anime alone or anything, but these legos are like a fusion of lego and anime into some sort of horrible unspeakable evil.

I still have my legos buried away in my closet. I should get them out sometime. Ahh, fond memories.

I'm sure the kiddies will like the EXOARMOR; we older customers will go to the page with the VIKINGS (that fort looks sweet). Besides, I have my lego Ninjas, and thats all I need from Japan.

WTFness... That's not lego...at least not how I remember it.

Wasn't the point to build your OWN creations? Not build /put together something by following instructions like those Tamiya modeling sets?

I usually bought alot of sets only for their unique parts so I could find my own things to do with them. That was the true fun of legos indeed.

Hey, everyone's already said it before me. Lego sucks now. I haven't played with it for about 3 or so years (when I was 11), and even then that was with my much older sets. The old Lego City stuff, the pirates, the castles with Richard the Lionheart, the Wild West. All this new BS was what threw me off, the stuff that isn't actually made out of the bricks, like 'Bionicle', 'Knights Kingdom'...
Can't count how many boxes I have...
Sad or what, my brother and myself actually had so much buildings and people and stuff we actually made our own islands on our bedroom mats and sent ships with traders across to trade our stuff...
